Description

TEXMAX SIZE 404 is a compounded warp sizing agent formulated for the sizing of cotton and cotton / polyester blended yarns to be woven on high speed weaving machines. The product may be used as is without the need for additives.

TEXMAX SIZE 404 is one of our best performing formulated warp sizing agents for cotton yarns. It contains a high content of synthetic binder.

TEXMAX SIZE 404 is an off-white powder product containing natural and synthetic polymers, lubricants and other process additives.

TEXMAX SIZE 404 has the following beneficial characteristics.

PREPARATION: TEXMAX SIZE 404 requires cooking prior to use. Add the desired quantity to the calculated cold starting water. Increase the liquor temperature to 125ºC and hold for
about 10 minutes. The product is now ready for use.

APPLICATION: TEXMAX SIZE 404 should be applied at 8  15% solids depending upon yarn type, construction, degree of weave difficulty and weaving machine speed.

REMOVAL: TEXMAX SIZE 404 is easily removed by conventional desizing methods.

STORAGE: TEXMAX SIZE 404 should be stored in a cool, dry and well ventilated area.
