TEXMAX SIZE 504 is a granular water dispersible polyester resin. It is an excellent binder and sizing agent for polyester filament, modal, Tensile, cotton and its blend warps, especially those in fine range. May be used as a coating in textile finishing application and sizing agent for polyester filament warps that are woven on of shuttle less looms.

PREPARATION & APPLICATION
TEXMAXSIZE 504 may be first dispersed in water at a standard concentration of 25%. It is easily dispersed with good agitation and temperature of 130° C. Water hardness of 20-40ppm produces the best results.
The 25% standard dispersion of TEXMAXSIZE 504 should be further diluted to application concentration. Application concentration varies according to yarn characteristics i.e. flat or texturized, denier and loom speed. This range is from 3.0% – 8%.. As the diluted dispersion is low viscosity at application temperature it penetrates yarn well. Drying temperature, speed, residual humidity, stretch and all other sizing parameters are same as normal sizing conditions depending upon the yarn and equipment being used.
